During October 2020, the highly successful and well received book ‘Peter and Friends Talk About Covid’ was published and LSBU's Learning Disability Nursing Team hosted its launch with a virtual event attended by several hundred people.
This inspired the team to produce a new publication - ‘Peter and Friends Talk About Mental Health’. This book is strongly set in true ‘co-production’. It offers people with learning disabilities and their allies a platform to be heard and tell the world of their experiences of mental health.
London South Bank University were delighted to host 'Peter and Friends' again for another fantastic event. Attendees got a chance to look at the book, hear interviews with some of the authors, presentations and to enjoy a sing & dance! The event chaired by Peter Cronin and Lloyd Page.
